Primal AW18 Trimotif

Being a fan of Primal Europe clothing, I couldn't wait to see what they were going to be releasing for the AW season. With plenty of options available, I decided to go with the Trimotif jersey because I loved the colour and thought on the darker days, I'd be seen better.

The new EVO 2.0 jersey now includes Proflex Laser cut sleeves which from my experience of the FlexPro Laser cut sleeves on the Epoch and Helix 2.0 jerseys provide great comfort and a brilliant fit.

To match, I also ordered a set of arm warmers and the new wind gilet. The Traverso mechanically brushed back fleece lined arm warmers are designed for temperatures between -6
ºC and 23ºC. Their ability to keep me warm is impressive and I haven't worn a proper winter jersey all season.

The wind vest gilet keeps your chest warm on those chillier Autumn, Winter and Spring mornings. However, it has a slightly tighter neck and chest than the other wind gilet that I have got, which is a contradiction to the jersey itself which has a more relaxed feel than the Helix 2.0 kit.

I was also a little surprised there is no reflective properties on the gilet.

Comfort: Jersey is comfy with a relaxed fit without the tight sleeve grippers. 4/5
The gilet is a bit tight on the chest but does have double zipper which is great if you need to get gels out of your jersey pocket. 3/5

Visibility: No reflection points on the jersey or the gilet. Released in the back quarter of 2018, I would have expected Autumn/Winter clothing to have some reflective properties. 1/5 However, for Spring/Summer clothing the print is very bright and is visible. 4/5

Value: Great value jersey with laser cut sleeves. 5/5

Accessories: Fingerless gloves, arm warmers, bib shorts and gilet completes the look. 5/5

All in all, I'd give the kit 4/5
